Started in 2009 a students’ hostel, Salwoods is one of the oldest and the best boys’ hostels in Bidholi village near UPES Dehradun. We offer affordable long stays and student accommodation in peaceful environment of the mountains. At just 1.2 kms from Bidholi Campus and 2.5 kms from Kandoli Campus of the UPES, it nestles in the cool, serene and tranquil valley, surrounded by mango orchards and lush green sal and teak covered hillocks on all sides. To the north, it offers panoramic view of Mussoorie, Binog, George Everest and Bhadraj Peaks, which are snow bound in winters. Views of the Dehradun valley and surrounding Rajaji National Park lie to the south.

Salwoods enjoys excellent road connectivity with Dehradun City being at just 20 minutes’ drive, yet the location offers an undisturbed calm and quiet atmosphere studying and working peacefully from the mountains. The cool and crisp unpolluted mountain air, adds a zest to life of in our guests.

All rooms are fully-furnished with attached toilets and bathrooms. The hostel is fully-equipped with an in-house Gym, a Pool-Table, Table Tennis and Outdoor Sports activities such as cricket/badminton and basketball etc.
